Watermark Projects, the industrial wastewater treatment division of the group, worked with a major UK dairy producer to design, manufacture, install and commission a complete wastewater treatment solution for their main production site.
With a view to reduce discharge costs and reduce their environmental impact, the client opted for a complete system capable of reducing Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD), Total Suspended Solids (TSS) and Fats, Oils & Greases (FOG).
With that in mind we designed a solution comprising of a large scale Balance Tank, Heavy Duty Pre-Screen for gross solids removal and a skid mounted Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) system for primary treatment.
